What would you do if you realized you had depression? The book “It’s Kind of a Funny Story” is about a kid named Craig Gilner who is going through depression and goes to a hospital to get treated. It is based on a true story by the Author, Ned Vizzini who suffered from depression as well as. Craig ether got the depression from doing bad in school or doing drugs.

One of the ways to get depression is from drugs. So Craig might of gotten this from drugs. He first started doing drugs from a friend from his school named Aaron. Aaron has been offering him drugs for a long time. Ever since being friends with Aaron he did drugs and soon got depression but did not know in till it got worse. In edition from getting depression from drugs Craig could of also gotten from school.

School could have been another reason because he struggled through school a lot. It could have been school because he stopped doing homework and wasn’t doing as well on tests. School was the place where he met Aaron so it might be because of school.

In the end, Craig was able to get away from being depressed. He went from afraid of life too wanting to live again. After a few weeks in the hospital for help, he was ready to go. After years and years of suffering depression Craig was finally cured. And all of this would not happen if he decided to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.

It is based on a true story by the Author, Ned Vizzini who suffered from depression as well as Craig. The great thing Craig did for his depression was going to the hospital instead of jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge to get help.

The reason why Craig had depression is because people were expecting him to do well in his new school (his new school was for gifted kids). In the story Craig worked hard day and night to get into the school. He got in the school but stopped working as hard and struggled the whole year. During school he made a friend named Aaron who later gets him on drugs. Craig went to many doctors and thought he was cured from depression, but he wasn’t.

In addition to getting depressed, Craig almost tried killing himself. Luckily he didn’t and checked into the emergency room a few blocks away from his house. Later he decided to go to a facility in the hospital that will help him but he would be there for a few weeks. He knew his depression was back when he wanted to jump of the Brooklyn bridge. But ever since he stopped hanging out with Aaron, he has been not having as much of a problem with the depression. Like when he got out of the hospital he stopped being friends with Aaron and he had no problems with his depression.

In the end, Craig was able to get away from being depressed. He went from afraid of life too wanting to live again. After a few weeks in the hospital for help, he was ready to go. After years and years of suffering depression Craig was finally cured. And all of this would not happen if he decided to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge.

The adventure on runescape!

Authors Note: There is really such a thing as runescape but the story where it takes place is not true. The ending is going to be different because I could not understand the original ending. Also I changed some sentences to make it sound better.

   Zachary was on runescape, playing with his friends online. Suddenly a dragon swooped down and flew away with wierdguy55. Brawlman33(Zachary) started to run with the dragon and got on the tail. The dragon started to shoot fireballs at Zach. Luckily he has ninja skills and dodges the fire and slays the dragon. Sadly, he died on level 3. He tried again but the dragon keeps killing him and he won't level up. So he needs help and goes to Jack and asked him if he could help. Jack says he can not help but right then suddenly wolfman9803 appeared. He pulled out his grenade launcher and destroyed the dragon. The dragon's wife and kids were so mad the destroyed everything. The whole world of runescape got destroyed that day.

Over paid athletes

There are a lot of athletes that i think are over paid. Like Cliff Lee on the Philadelphia phillies. He is a pitcher and he he gets about 130 million in 6 years. That's a lot of money. Also there are athletes in the NFL that I think are under payed. Like the kicker/punter. They don't get a lot of money and quarterbacks get payed o ton. Field goal kickers are just as important as a quarterback. That is why I think some people are over payed and underpayed.

The NBA

The NBA is a league full of basketball in the USA. There are lots of teams in the NBA like the Denver nuggets, Philadelphia 76ers, LA Lakers, or the Miami Heat. Basket Ball is simple you dribble the ball and try to throw or dunk it in the hoop. you can score points as high as 3 and as low as 1(due to fouls). To score 3 points when you shoot the ball your feet has to be outside the 3 point line. Anything closer is 2 points. In The NBA there are a lot of good players like Kobe Bryant and Yao Ming. They are probably the two best players in the league.
The NBA session is once a year and the NBA finals is when the teams that did the best go in the tournament and who ever wins will be the best in the NBA. When I grow Up I don't want to play in NBA because they don't get payed enough.

the steelers

I love the Steelers because I'm from Pennsylvania and the Pittsburgh Steelers are awesome! Back when I was a Little boy I saw the Steelers win the super bowl in 2005 and in 2008. They are my favorite team ever. I liked them since I was a boy. And my favorite player is ben roethlisburger. I know for a fact they are going to win this super bowl.
